Mary and Marco her hearing dog are hopefully going to visit us on Friday 25th April. It will be interesting to find out about the job of a hearing dog. More information about this visit will be posted on the class blog once we return to school after the holidays.

Our visit from Mary Whittaker and her hearing dog, Marco, has had to be postponed as Mary has been unwell. Hopefully Mary will be able to visit us in school next term.

Derek Robertson of Consalarium in Dundee is coming to visit our class next week to talk to the children about the work they have been doing with their Nintendo DS machines. He wants to film us using the Nintendogs game.

We are using Nintendo DS machines and the game Nintendogs to help us find out all about looking after dogs. The game is really helping us with our writing and we are having great fun with it.

Hey P2/3. I love your dog pages - they are great. Lots of interesting details about your dogs and your writing is really good. It sounds like you are having fun and learning lots too. Well done.

You seem to be learning lots about dogs with your Nintendogs. Please come and show P6D some time.

As I am sure you know, it is very important to exercise you dog so that he or she is fit, happy and healthy. It would be nice if you walked your puppies across to our new classroom, and told your S3 friends what you have learnt so far about looking after a pet. We hope to see you soon.

Some dog owners have now managed to link up with each other.
